Flexible PVC or Vinyl is formed by adding plasticizers, most commonly being Phthalates, to rigid PVC. The resulting polymer has good impact and abrasion resistance along with excellent vibration absorption and very low bounce characteristics while remaining cost effective. Common uses include: car interiors, wire insulation, and flooring products.
