Rotuba Cellulose Acetate H2 is a thermoplastic derived from combining natural cellulose with plasticizers and other additives. Physically similar to ABS plastic this material has good impact and mechanical strength as well as high dielectric constant and good machineability. It also has good resistance to a variety of chemicals and can be offered in a wide range of colors. Cellulose Acetate has poor resistance to acetone, esters, acids, strong mineral bases and chlorine. Common uses include; photography film, eyeglass frames, and colored pin heads.
